Online Induction Course

The Agsafe Online Induction course course has been developed online by Agsafe Limited to welcome personnel new to the industry. In this course you will be introduced to the agricultural and veterinary (agvet) chemical industry to learn how to handle, sell, transport, store, provide advice on and take responsibility for the safety of agvet chemicals within the supply chain. As part of a team, employees are expected to work in accordance with their legal duty of care for the safety of themselves and all other persons in the workplace.

This course introduces you to working in the Agvet Chemical Industry where participants are encouraged to complete the course within the first two months (60 days) of joining the Industry. The course provides a flexible learning study option supporting industry training needs and accreditation goals. Participants study their course via interactive learning using their Agsafe Accreditation Training Manual as a resource and reference guide.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS COURSE CAN ONLY BE COMPLETED BY USING THE AGSAFE ACCREDITATION TRAINING MANUAL (BASIC MANUAL) AS A RESOURCE. If you wish to complete this course online, please contact Agsafe PRIOR to commencement. Agsafe will mail a copy of the Basic Manual to you.

As part of your accreditation, you will need to commit to abide by the Agsafe Code of Conduct at course end. The course should take approximately 4 hours to complete including required readings. Good luck with your studies!

Resources Page

When you have been given access to the course you will be given access to this “Resources” page to assist your learning. The “Resources” icon is located in the bottom banner of every lesson web page. This web page has been created to provide a comprehensive resource list, to access at any time. All of the resources are listed in the menu below, under the relevant lesson.

Add this web page address to your “Favourites” menu for easy access at a later date.
